CINDOR enables users to enter a single query in their native
language and retrieve documents in all supported languages.
Current languages supported are: English, French and Spanish.
Simplified Chinese, Russian and Arabic are currently under development.
What makes CINDOR unique in the cross-language search arena?
Our Conceptual Interlingua, a language neutral lexicon,
removes monolingual and keyword search barriers.
CINDOR has three core technology modules: Conceptual Interlingua,
Language Analysis, and Search Management. These core technology
modules may be part of a full solution tightly integrated with a
third party search engine and storage solution, or sold with
standard APIs and wrappers to aid integration as an embeddable
solution in any third party search/storage engine.
The system accepts user queries in free-form text, ranging from
single words or phrases to full natural language sentences.
The CINDOR system is UNICODE compliant, as defined by the
UNICODE Standard. Our automatic document translation
partner is Alis Technologies. Using their Gist-In-Time software,
we are able to offer immediate gists of all retrieved documents.
Gist-In-Time is tightly integrated into the CINDOR full solution and the embeddable solution.
CINDOR currently operates on Windows or UNIX platforms.
The Alis Gist-In-Time system operates on the Windows platform.
